![]() Geothermal Rising Geothermal Rising is a non-profit organization empowering the advancement of human understanding and practical use of geothermal energy through collaboration and communication of robust research, knowledge, advocacy, outreach, and guidance in the United States and around the globe. It is the largest direct-membership professional and trade association serving the geothermal industry. GR represents and advocate for all geothermal technologies and applications from ground source heat pumps to supercritical hot rock and everything in between. International Geothermal Association IGA encourages, facilitates and promotes the development of geothermal resources, as well as innovative research in geothermal technologies, through visible and integrated position and representation of geothermal power, heat, geo-exchange, cooling and other uses of geothermal resources. IEA Geothermal The International Energy Agency Geothermal TCP provides a framework for international collaboration and networking among nations, industries and industry organisations on geothermal energy and geothermal resources. It operates under the auspices of the International Energy Agency Technology Collaboration Programme. Global Geothermal Alliance Launched at COP21, the Global Geothermal Alliance (GGA) serves as a platform for dialogue, cooperation and coordinated action between the geothermal industry, policy makers and stakeholders worldwide. European Geothermal Energy Council The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) is a not-for-profit organisation promoting all aspects of the geothermal industry. Founded in 1998, its objective is to facilitate awareness and expansion of geothermal applications across Europe by shaping policy, improving investment conditions and steering research. International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) The International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) is a non-profit, member-driven organization established in 1987 to advance ground source heat pump (GSHP) technology on local, state, national and international levels.
